• Facilitation of experiential learning based corporate programmes (a.k.a. outbound training programmes).
• Consultancy for a) for outdoors-based organisations b) experiential education n centres -programme designing, risk management, review/evaluation of programmes, staff training, and d c) ISO certification for adventure tourism
• Instructor at National Outdoor Leadership School, U.S.A. (NOLS) – worked variety of assignments including teaching ‘core courses’, undertaking consultancy assignments & as programme supervisor .
• Instructor of Wilderness First t Aid courses & CPR conducted by Hanifl Centre of Woodstock School, Mussoorie, India and Aerie Backcountry Medicine, Montana, U.S.A. .

CONSULTANCY ASSIGNMENTS

• Consultancy for an outdoor learning centre – programme design, areas of business, risk management policy, framework of staff requirement and development, setting up operations
• Consultancy for two outdoors based organisations – programme design, areas of business, risk management practices, framework of staff requirement and development, sample documents
• Risk Management Project for adventure services offered at certain locations of the ‘Club Mahindra’ chain of resorts – generating g risk management policy and standard operating procedures, undertaking review of existing adventure services and training staff
• Programme review: of the 1 10-day leadership Himalayan programme offered b by Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (project undertaken through ‘NOLS Professional Training’)
• Review report: three-member team, worked on future prospects for ‘The Hannifl Centre’ of outdoor education of ‘Woodstock School’, Mussourie
• Training programmes on ‘outdoor leadership’: primarily hiking & mountaineering clubs; areas of focus have been outdoor leadership and technical skills at basic level
• Risk management systems a and safety enhancement: year-long project to enhance risk management for certain operations at construction sites – designing material lifting and lowering system, field staff training, behavioral intervention in risk management at managerial level
• Coordinated the effort of the e ‘Experts Committee’ for land based activities in Maharashtra, for work on safety guidelines; the final set of documents was submitted to the State Government authorities who were working towards formulating a GR to regulate safety in adventure activities.

Hiking and rock climbing in Western Ghats, hiking in various Himalayan regions and four peak climbing expeditions in the Himalaya, including to Mt. Kangchenjunga, the world’s third highest mountain Have been throughout involved in outdoor education programmes – of various designs – for school students, college students and adults

Have written a few articles on safety in outdoors for Marathi newspaper Maharashtra Times Photography and sketching (illustrated a book); have helped shoot adventure sequences for TV episodes & two feature films; have co-produced a film on basic safety in outdoors
